5/5 ⭐ | Reversing the Cataclysm: Book Three of the Thule Trilogy by Joab Stieglitz

Travels, adventure, and the Red Wizard are back as Anna sets off to reverse the cataclysm she set off in The Utgarda Trilogy. Aptly named, “Reversing the Cataclysm” is Anna’s driving force in this epic finale to the Thule Trilogy

Author Joab Stieglitz blows readers away with the creation of alter egos in the worlds within this trilogy.  With shifting alter egos present as a result of the Collective’s influence, Anna has her guard up on this journey.  From the reintroduction of Sif, Ganon, Govil, and many more, Dr. Anna Rykov must sort out her prior experiences from her present with each of these characters.  Embarking into unwelcome territory once again, the crew she’s assembled must set off to undo the cataclysmic events of Anna’s past.

Wrapping up this trilogy in fantastic fashion.  The action, the journey, the lively characters, and extreme beasts along the way make this yet another entertaining read from Stieglitz.  Throughout his series, both The Utgarda Trilogy, and this most recent The Thule Trilogy the growth of his writing, character development, and fantasy lands is on full display.  Transporting readers directly into his imaginations, these worlds are extremely detailed and understandable at every level, surface to the water, islands, woods and caverns, the scenery is outstanding.  From the crocodile-like beasts of Thule to the insects of Utgarda, the creativity and ingenuity of Stieglitz work is on full display.

“Reversing the Cataclysm” and Dr. Anna Rykov’s story ends in the best way, like a movie in blazing glory. Joab Stieglitz has created a masterpiece with this finale.
